Brief: To develop a web site which should function primarily as a promotional tool in order to attract potential Inward Investors to the Lancashire West Region. The partnership consists of seven district authorities whom all required access to up-date relevant and timely information.
Method: Develop an easy to use / navigate web site in line with the partnership’s strategy documents. Develop and employ suitable database and content management software. Encourage participation from stakeholders in the development and promotion of the web site
Conclusion: The web site development has been completed from the original brief and is undergoing further development. Stakeholders and users have given very positive feedback. Internet marketing work has led to increased traffic and information requests from increasing numbers of potential new clients. Work was carried out to an agreed budget and completed ahead of schedule. |

Brief: To develop a web site
which would act as a hub for their 60,000 subscriber base.
Also to facilitate usage of E-Newsletter system which
could be used to provide information, sell advertising
and report back statistical analysis of users, i.e opens,
bounces, unsubscribes etc..
Method: Created a content management system which
gave the company complete control over content addition.
Also gave staff the ability to send out E-Newsletters
without involvement from third party company.
Conclusion: Subscriber base continues to
grow which in turn is increasing turnover. Running costs
of web site have decreased due to ability to content manage
web site themselves. |
