Search Engines
| Addition/Optimisation of Web Site Key Words |
 |
Search Engines place your site in their engines depending on the mix and make up of keywords throughout your web site. From past experience we know the best placement of these words to enable your site to be positioned well in search engine rankings. Keywords are selected which “second guess” what a user might type in order to find your web site. Such Keywords and phrases are then placed within the coding of your site to enable a high ranking. The process is as follows:
- Through discussions with the client keywords are created which reflect what users would type in a search engine to find their site.
- The keywords are analysed against what is actually being typed into search engines. From such an analysis additional keywords will be entered to increase the web sites chances of being found through search engines.
- The keywords are entered throughout the web site.

| Initial Search Engine Submissions |
 |
After the optimisation of keywords throughout your site, search engine submissions are made on your behalf to the top twenty based search engines used on the Internet. The new keywords will take affect within 4 – 12 weeks depending on the criteria of the search engine itself. After 3 months a report is run to show where your web site is ranked amongst the search engines.
The initial search engine work ensures that your pages of your website are listed with the major search engines. Please note that we do not make guarantees on positions based upon particular keywords at this stage.

| Advanced Level Search Engine Process |
 |
The addition, optimisation and then initial submission of keywords to your web site will give you some prominence within search engine listings. We are able to improve search engine rankings by further analysis of both keywords and your competitor web sites. The work involved is as follows:
- A report is run identifying current search engine positions based on keywords
- Your position is analysed against the top ranking web site and a comparison takes place to identify differences.
- Keywords are changed, added, positioned accordingly to improve your web site ranking.
- Search engine rankings are improved with regular ‘maintenance’.

| Google/Overture Banner Ads |
 |
Banner Advertising is by far the most commonly used effective way of directing traffic to your site. Pay per click advertising on Google/Overture is relatively cheap in comparison to other methods, but more importantly it is much more cost effective. With banner advertising it is possible to have a box (on the right hand side of the page) appear when a relevant search term or phrase has been submitted e.g. ‘Website Development’.
As your box(es) only appear once a suitable search term is entered, it means that it is directed traffic very specific to your area of expertise and you only pay once a visitor ‘clicks’ on your web site link in the box advert.
Advantages of Using Banner Ads
- You control your spend by specifying your budget
- You only pay when a user clicks on your banner
- You can control the timing of your ad deliveries i.e. more or less spend during specific seasons/periods of the year
- You have control over your ads so you can be sure they are only shown to a highly targeted audience
- Expands your reach and gives you more new customers
